We didn't have a dual meet this week which allowed our athletes a full week of much needed practice.  The long practices will help our athletes as we head into the month of April.

This past Saturday a few of our athletes performed at the Beach Cities Invitational. 

BOYS TOP PERFORMERS FROM WEEK#9

  • Logan Shaw had a season bests in the 1600m, 4:21.86
  • Jacob Harper PR in the discus 124ft Saturday at Beach Cities Invite. First year in the sport! Awesome
  • Noah Hagerstrand  huge PR in the 200m 23.93 watch out for this upcoming 10th grader
  • Jaden Tang 800m personal best 2:05.93
  • Jayden Gomez 1600m 5:32 personal best
  • Ethan McEwen 8000m 2:20 personal best as he is just beginning to figure out his talent level

GIRLS TOP PERFORMERS FROM WEEK#9

  • Charlie Collins Williams set a personal Best 1600m 5:23 
  • Hunsika Yerratha also had Personal best in 300H blazing to 50.62
  • Lizzy LI set a PR discus 85-11
  • Emma Walton doing the double PR in the 100m 13.64 and 200m 28.12
Our athletes of the week honors go to two 10th graders who are making some noise as the future twolf studs.  Bia Yoo setting a personal best of 33-7 in the triple jump for almost a 2ft personal best. Blythe Anderson who broke the school record in the PV with an incredible 13-3 clearance.  Both of these two youngsters have a very bright future in our sport!!!

This week we have the HOME DUAL MEET against Woodbridge HS.  It should be very competitive on all levels.  All coaches look forward to seeing the athletes perform at a high level.  The varsity teams both are looking to win the league championships.  REMINDER FRIDAY IS PICTURE DAY!
