confidence is the key to all the locks."

LEAGUE PRELIMS WEEK

Good luck this week as we begin our championship season with the PCL Prelims on Friday. Our athletes are prepared to compete at a high level—now it’s time to trust your training and go out there ready to perform.

We’ve all put in the work, and this is the moment to finish strong. Set a personal best. Qualify for finals. Compete for a league title. Chase a school record. Aim for CIF. Or simply step onto the track and compete with pride for NHS.

Each athlete should have clear goals for how they want to close out the season, and the coaches are behind you every step of the way. Take a moment to reflect on the past 14 weeks and everything you’ve accomplished. And don’t forget to thank your assistant coaches and your parents for their support.

You’re ready. Go make it count.

PARENTS

We invite you to come out and support our athletes over the next two weeks at the league meets. There will be plenty of space in the stands to cheer them on, and your presence makes a difference.

For many athletes, this may be their final competition of the season—and for our seniors, it could be their last time competing in an NHS uniform. As senior parents know, these four years go by quickly.

We hope to see you at the meets—come enjoy the competition and celebrate the athletes’ hard work.

TRI-MEET & OC CHAMPS RECAP

As the track and field season reaches its final stretch, this is when athletes rise to another level. The work put in over months begins to show, and personal bests become the standard, not the exception. This is the time of the season when focus sharpens, confidence builds, and performances peak. Every race, jump, and throw carries purpose and athletes step up ready to deliver their best when it matters most. Our track meet this week proved it.  Check out the personal best at our last dual meet and at OC champs!!
