SAVION COTTEN 8TH PLACE FINISH IN CIF WITH A SCHOOL RECORD OF 11.03

Great competition at the highest level in our sport brings out the best in athletes. This past weekend was no different for the Northwood Timberwolves. Several of our boys and girls finished their season with a Personal Best and many of our student athletes saw their high school athletic careers come to the end.

THE GIRLS 4X100M RELAY ENDED THE SEASON WITH THEIR FASTEST TIME OF THE YEAR AND RANKED 18TH OUT OF 212!!

JULIA ROBLES, LAUREN MUNIZ, CARINA HENDLEY AND CHINY CHAMBERS BLAZED A 49.84

FROM THE IRVINE JR GAMES MEDALIST ..............................TO THE NHS SCHOOL RECORD HOLDERS.

CHINY CHAMBERS AND CARINA HENDLEY HAD A TREMENDOUS CIF SATURDAY.

THEY SET THE SCHOOL RECORD IN THE 200M WITH A TIME OF 25.81 FOR CHINY AND 25.82 FOR CARINA!!

THIS WAS ON TOP OF PR'S IN THE 100M FOR EACH OF THEM. CARINA RAN 12.63 GOOD FOR 2ND ALL-TIME AT NHS. CHINY RAN 12.71 FOR HER PERSONAL BEST!! WOW!

SAVION COTTEN IN HIS FIRST SEASON WITH THE T-WOLFS SMASHED THE SCHOOL RECORDS IN THE 100M AND 200M. HIS TIMES OF 11:05 AND 22.56 ARE THE FASTEST EVER IN NHS HISTORY.

SAVION'S 100M TIME EARNED HIM A TRIP TO NEXT WEEKENDS CIF FINALS!!!

WHAT A SPECIAL SEASON FOR THE 11TH GRADER!

SAMI MURPHY RAN A SEASONAL PR IN THE 3200M IN 10:59.51

SHE SET THE NHS SCHOOL RECORD FOR 10TH GRADE GIRLS

AMANI TRISTAN IN HER FIRST SEASON IN TRACK HURDLED A PR AT CIF IN THE 300 HURDLES OF 46.80

HER TIME IS A SCHOOL RECORD FOR 12TH GRADE GIRLS

KELLIE MAY SET PERSONAL BESTS THIS SEASON AND SCHOOL RECORDS IN BOTH HORIZONTAL JUMPS.

IN CIF SHE FINISHED IN 10TH PLACE IN THE LONG JUMP AT 17FT!

AT JUST A SOPHOMORE RAMAL SILVA COMPETED IN HIS FIRST CIF MEET.

HIS SEASONAL PR'S RANK HIM AS THE 5TH 10TH GRADER IN CIF DIVISION 2.

BRENDEN STONE ENED HIS NHS CAREER AS THE FASTEST 800M ATHLETE EVER AT NHS!

PCL PRELIM RESULTS 2015

Wow! Northwood has qualified the most athletes ever into Friday's PCL Track and Field Championship. Great Job to all athletes and coaches!!!!!

Several Athletes may stay in class until the end of school if they have testing or if their event is later in the afternoon. However the buses will depart at 12:15pm. So if the athlete is going home before their scheduled event, please arrive 90 minutes before your event.
