At NHS Track we understand the importance of family time and vacation. All athletes are encouraged to practice a minimum of 3 days during the spring break. It is absolutely vital if you are a varsity athlete. We have worked too hard to take off an entire week from training. This dedication is what makes league champions. Athletes are encouraged to attend the correct event practice times but may practice with other events if necessary. (Going to any practice is better than missing)
EXPECTATIONS: Each athlete will complete these practices in order to continue making progress for the championship season, maintain the fitness we have built up and help the team achieve its goals
1. If you are going on a family vacation, then please have your parents sign off on the workouts that you completed while away from Irvine.
2. If you come back to Irvine before the week is out, join us in the workouts
3. Enjoy the time away from the classroom and re-charge your batteries for the dash to the championship finish (We will have 3 weeks remaining when you return from spring break until the League Championship)
